From the beginning COMEPRE has assiduously worked in the field of the sport of motorcycling. As we have already told in the section History of the Company, the activities COMEPRE in this area began with the multisuccessful MV Agusta, at the time piloted by Giacomo Agostini.
And with MV Agusta the collaboration lasted until this prestigious motorcycle manufacturer decided to retire from racing. A legend tells that one of the reasons for the withdrawal was the fact that, under pressure from Japanese competitors who were unable to use Titanium with the same success of the MV Agusta, was forbidden the use of Titanium for the construction of the frames. This angered terribly Count Agusta, owner of the team, causing him to such a drastic decision.
But as well as to collaborate large manufacturers, always COMEPRE was also at the side of small manufacturers and amateurs. Among these we mention one to which we were particularly fond, for his great technical skills and above all his human qualities: he was the unforgettable Joseph "Pep" Pattoni (1926-1999), for which COMEPRE did weld many chassis and components used by this great sportsman to participate to the world championship and to many other national and international competitions with its green "Paton" motorcycle.
In more recent times, always in the world of motorcycle racing, COMEPRE collaborated and still collaborates with Aprilia and Ducati. To these two motorcycle manufacturers were supplied frame components in Titanium, made to their design, as well as service components for the races, as easels, signalers, holders etc.
Even many "private" teams are our affectionate Customers and we enjoy working with them and share a passion for the sport that has always joined to them COMEPRE and its workers.
But, in addition to the racing world, we provide weldings and components to the world of tourism motorcycle manufacturers, especially for manufacturers of motorcycles having a more "sportive" charachteristic.
Among these we mention the Ghezzi & Brian, manufacturer of various famous models such as the "Furia Titanium" and the CR & S Milan, which manufactures motorcycles named "Vun" and "Duu". These manufacturers, who work handcrafted way and with great passion, have become popular among fans because of the attention to detail that distinguish their productionsshape.
Last but not least, many private owners of any kind of motorcycles, including "vintage"models, come to COMEPRE for welding operations and for the production of components according to their design or to rebuild parts that cannot be purchased on the new or second hand market.
