Sail and motor yachting

Aluminum and nickel alloys, but especially Titanium, due to its durability, lightness and saline environmental resistance, are ideal materials for use in marine environments.

For this reason COMEPRE has been a supplier of many customers for whom we have created a very wide range of components, both for holiday or racing sailing, as well as for motor boats, from smallest racers to largest and luxurious yachts.

We have built both structural parts, such as rudder axes and rudder blades, propulsion systems with semi-submerged propellers type "Arneson", keels and drifts, deck equipment, parts and fittings, such as tillers and rudder wheels, shackles, snap hooks, pulpits, stanchions, lifelines and spreaders but also of interior design furniture and exterior parts such as lamps, stairs, linings, tables, chairs and so on.

Between Customers and/or between the most prestigious sailing boats to which COMEPRE provided components, we include "Azzurra" who participated in the America's Cup in 1983 and 1987, "Il Moro di Venezia" who participated in the America's Cup in 1992, many hulls of the various Juan Carlos Bourbon’s "Bribon" designed by the Fontana-Maletto-Navone study, "GGG" owned by Alessandro Gaoso, winning two Miniton World Championships in 1990 and 1992 "Mandrake-Krizia" owned by Giorgio Carriero, "Kirribilli " owned by Renzo Piano.

Between motor boats, we remember the long collaboration with FB Design of Eng. Franco Buzzi, that with the "1881 CESA" realized an endless series of victories, and then Guido Cappellini, also a multiple World Champion in the category F1, and even the stairs and furniture made of Titanium for "Mariù", the prestigious yacht owned by Giorgio Armani.

In the photo gallery below you can see some images of the above boats (click to enlarge).
